And Now, a Word from Our Sponsor

I don’t have sponsors and don’t sell ads, you know that.

But I do have another life beyond the lens, and once a year I break my promise to only post photos of lovely flowers. This is it for 2019.

When I’m not taking photos, I write sci-fi and supernatural suspense stories. Today I am launching my newest book, BEWARE THE SPIDER.
This is the second installment of the Black Orchid Chronicles. And nature photographer Sebastian Arnett is back, battling the spider demon Empaya Iba, who cursed him with the power to kill with his thoughts but denied him the ability to control that deadly power.
Chinese crime lords who have plans to use Sebastian against their competitors come after him, and the action swerves from Denver to the Australian outback and the steaming jungles of Borneo and back again. When they fail to win his cooperation, the crime syndicate kidnaps Sebastian’s live-in girlfriend, heiress Amanda Cox Campion, and he gives chase.
Sebastian’s life is further complicated by dreams that something is attempting to attack Empaya Iba, and he is the only thing standing in its way. As much as he hates the demon, he realizes he needs the power of its curse to save Amanda.
This type of story may, or may not, be your cup of tea. Be assured there will be no further commercial messages until I write another book. Thank you for your patience.

Now, back to your Bright.

It’s a Dahlia, dahling.
