I can’t say that I’m worried the way I was heading off to kindergarten, but I am psyched that I start the Master Gardener program at Green Spring Gardens tomorrow afternoon.
Seventy-five hours of horticultural wonderment heading my way over the next nine weeks. I plan to share highlights right here twice a week. Oh, the things we will learn together.
Like all the cool kids I see online, I decided to share the contents of my bag for this adventure.
- My bag is a backpack, because I’ve seen the text book, and it comes in a four-inch binder.
- Water bottle
- iPad – Cause it’s my brain
- Leather notebook
- Earbuds
- Eyeglass case
- Pencil
- Pens
- Highlighter
- Swiss Army knife
- Well-watered copy of Native Plants for Northern Virginia – In case we do show and tell
Oh, yes, I will also be hauling the Something Bright camera bag along, because there will be flowers.
For the record, the only thing I took to kindergarten was a slip of paper with my name and address pinned to the back of my shirt.
