Green Spring Gardens is tucked away in the northeast quadrant of Little River Turnpike and Braddock Road behind the Starbucks. (Isn’t everything behind a Starbucks?)

I’ve shot photos at the Gardens for years, including the two above which I captured in May.

Last year, a friend of mine introduced me to the very neat VCE Master Gardeners program at Green Spring.

I am a candidate for the Class of 2016 and hope to begin an intense 75-hour course of study in mid-September. If accepted — and I’ll know by the end of July — I plan to use this as a platform to record my experience.
